Bobata Onsen

Bobata Onsen is a hot spring resort in Ishikawa-machi, Fukushima Prefecture, that is comprised of several onsen ryokan hotels. It's estimated that the hot springs of Bobata Onsen were first opened around 900 years ago, and it's said their beginnings were when the injuries of a soldier were healed after he washed them in the mountain stream water. These hot springs have long been used to heal injuries, and people often visit for day trips and to stay overnight.
